Choose the right printing method

Choose a printing method for your platform and printer. A connected status must be followed by a physical print from a session result.

Follow the section for your platform. Screenshots show native UI with demo data; menus depend on version, plan and device. Test-build features may not yet be in the public release.

Before you begin

Load paper/ribbon/ink and match the media size to the frame. Prepare the required cable or network.

Connect, then print — Workflow diagram. Optional steps depend on event configuration.

Android steps

1Open Settings → Printer. Choose a driver/method for the model: supported USB/network connection or Android Print Universal.
2For Android Print Universal, make sure the manufacturer print service/plugin is available in Android. Choose the printer in the system print dialog.
3For USB, grant device permission; for network printing, use the correct address and network. WPS only helps a printer join Wi-Fi; it is not an OurBooth driver.
4Choose media and copies, then print from Result. Inspect the physical output before enabling automatic printing.

iPhone and iPad steps

1Open Settings → Printer. Choose AirPrint, OurBooth Assistant or Epson Direct according to the model and available method.
2Follow the iPad printing guide to connect. For network methods, the device and printer/Assistant must be able to reach each other.
3Set the media, then print a session result. Professional USB printing is not available in the Apple release configuration referenced by this guide.

Check the result

Operator check

A result prints at the intended size, orientation and copy count without cropping important content.

If something goes wrong

Symptom	Next step
Connected, but no paper emerges	Check the queue, media, printer errors and physical output before sending the same job again.
Printer is not found on Wi-Fi	Check guest-network/client isolation, local-network permission and printer connectivity. The same Wi-Fi name does not always mean devices can communicate.
