Before you begin

Workflow diagram. Optional steps depend on event configuration.

The guest journey

The guest journey

Android steps

  1. 1Open Events → Create/Edit. Choose automatic or manual capture and set the countdown.
  2. 2Set the automatic delay and allowed retakes. Enable the filter screen only when guests should use it.
  3. 3Enable kiosk if required. Configure the offered session timer; paid sessions still follow payment timing policy.
  4. 4Run a session, use retakes up to the limit and let a session time out. Confirm the booth returns to a state ready for the next guest.

iPhone and iPad steps

  1. 1Open Events → Edit → session settings. Choose automatic/manual capture, countdown and retakes.
  2. 2For Live Photo, use a countdown that meets the requirement shown in the UI. A short countdown suspends motion instead of silently adding time.
  3. 3When enabling kiosk, complete the requested owner verification. Ensure the device has a passcode if required.
  4. 4Choose an overall or per-screen timer as available. Test frame selection, capture, filters and Result, including expiry.

Operator check

Guests can follow the countdown, retakes stop at the configured limit, and the operator can still access management controls.

Live Photo cannot be enabledCheck the countdown and camera-source support rather than repeatedly toggling it.
No timer is shown in a normal eventTimer controls depend on kiosk mode and session policy; not every event uses the same timing.

Use built-in frames in an event

Start with an available frame, then choose which frames an event may use. A catalog item is not necessarily ready for offline use.

Recommended next

Set up your first event

Prepare one demo event until its outputs are usable. Once this journey works, repeat the final check with the configuration you will use for your guests.

Wrap up an event and hand over results

Close an event by checking results, uploads, payments and gallery access. Device cleanup is the final step after required data is safe.
